Most businesses do the bare minimum when it comes to email flows.


They set up a basic welcome sequence, abandoned cart, and abandoned site flow and never touch their account again.


Which means they're leaving a lot of money on the table.


And I'm really not exaggerating.

So to help you get started here are 3 overlooked flows that can add an extra 5, 10, or even $20,000 a month to your revenue.


1) Post Purchase Flows


Most businesses will make a sale, send a thank you email and that's about it.


Which is a huge mistake.


Up to 72% of buyers experience buyer's remorse after making a purchase online.


But with the right Post Purchase Flow, you can remove this entirely.


The aim of this flow is to make the buyer feel like they've made the right decision.


Congratulate them, tell them about what's to come, and show results from other customers.


This flow can be anywhere between 4-8 emails and should look something like this:


Email 1: Congratulate the buyer and thank them for ordering.


Email 2: Let them know their order is out for delivery.


Email 3: Tell them about the product they've bought, break down the ingredients, and show why your product is the best.


Email 4: Send a few reviews from customers who have loved and seen results from the product in the past.


Email 5: Ask how their experience has been and what could be improved.


From here you can start cross-selling products that go well with what they've bought, offer a unique discount, and create unique offers to turn a one-time buyer into a repeat customer.


2) Customer Winback Flows


The easiest people to sell to are those who have already bought from you.


Which is crazy when you consider a large percentage of email lists are completely overlooked.


After a customer stops buying for 90 days, many brands put them on an "inactive" list and disregard them entirely.


But with a customer winback flow, you can start selling to customers who slipped off the radar.


Your customer winback flow should provide an incentive for them to come back.


I usually do this with 3 emails.


Email 1: Tell them you miss them and offer a discount.


Email 2: Offer a better discount than you did in the first email.


Email 3: Offer a unique deal that makes them feel special, for example, buy 1 get 1 free.


You want to make buying again a complete no-brainer offer.


The easier you make it for the buyer, the more likely they will return.


If you don't get an order, you can also ask the buyer why they don't want to buy.


This is a great way to get feedback directly from your audience.


3) Repeat Buyer Flows


One reason people don't buy again is pretty simple: they forget.


We all live extremely busy lives and rarely have a moment to sit down and plan things out.


This is where a repeat buyer flow can be extremely useful.


Instead of leaving it to chance, email your customer a week before their current supply of what they bought will run out.


If it won't, suggest something that will go well with it.


The aim here is to predict when the customer will want to buy again and make it as easy as possible.


I've had huge success with this flow working for supplement brands, though you can use it for skincare, clothing (seasonal deals), and 90% of markets if you're creative enough.


The best part is you can be as creative as you want.


Often an idea that I think will work doesn't go as well as planned, and a shot in the dark does amazing.


Which makes writing them more fun.


And all of these flows also have an added bonus:


They will create familiarity around your brand.


If they see you making an effort they're going to recognize you.


If they recognize you, they're 71% more likely to buy.
