Subject: Why you need to take writing breaks

Friend,

I have a confession...

Over the past few weeks I've been a little burnt out.

Motivation has been low and ideas have been few & far between.

Luckily I had a small break pre-planned.

And this morning I woke up to this view.

Pretty stunning, right?

As copywriters we have a bad habit of not switching off.

We're always thinking about the next big idea, the next headline, the next CTA.

But sometimes it's good to switch off, recharge, and get ready for the next quarter.

If you feel like you're on the edge of burnout, this is your body telling you that it's time for a break.

Listen to your body, as I can tell you from experience, there's not much worse than a burnout.

When you return from your break you'll feel more motivated, ideas will come naturally, and you'll find your love for writing again.

Have a great week.
