Professional Video Alliance To Offer First of Dolby Approved Training The Professional Video Alliance (PVA) is thrilled to receive Dolby Approved status for its comprehensive calibration training. PVA will host its first –four-day session under the new status in Amsterdam on Sept. 18-20, following IBC 2023.  "We're proud to join forces with Dolby as an education partner to become the first calibration training program to achieve the highly coveted 'Dolby Approved' status," stated Gregg Loewen, Founder of PVA. This exciting partnership will give PVA access to Dolby's knowledgeable staff and exceptional training materials, ensuring that information on Dolby Vision is up-to-date and accurate. This collaboration will allow PVA to enhance our curriculum and provide valuable insights for both companies through the global network of skilled calibration professionals who receive the training."  The ICA Video Training, with PVA Certification is certified by the International Colorist Academy (ICA). Students experience Core training during the first two days and the following days include Advanced training with HDR calibration. The PVA is the only organization to teach HDR calibration and how it relates to reference projector systems. |
