Come along, meet colleagues and friends, chat about the industry, and have a good time.

A panel of Filmlight Colour Awards finalists and judges will discuss colorist awards and the festival.

Watch Season 2 of ‘Color Matters’

Color Matters is a digital documentary series by Portrait Displays, following the ways Hollywood creatives use color in filmmaking. Season two features Picture Shop’s Chief Color Scientist, Joshua Pines, a 12-time Academy Award winner known for Star Wars, The Revenant, Jurassic Park, and Blade Runner; and Senior Colorist Maxine Gervais, the first woman to receive an HPA Award in Color, known for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Black Panther, The Aviator, Alpha, and more.

Color Matters lifts the veil on the intricacies of the post-production process. Audiences will gain insights into the technology used to craft and manipulate color to convey

powerful narratives and learn from Josh and Maxine in an exclusive long-form masterclass conversation.

Professional Video Alliance Now Offers Dolby Approved Training

The Professional Video Alliance (PVA) was thrilled to receive Dolby Approved status for its comprehensive calibration training.

"We're proud to join forces with Dolby as an education partner to become the first calibration training program to achieve the highly coveted 'Dolby Approved' status," stated Gregg Loewen, Founder of PVA. This exciting partnership will give PVA access to Dolby's knowledgeable staff and exceptional training materials, ensuring that information on Dolby Vision is up-to-date and accurate."

The ICA Video Training, with PVA Certification is certified by the International Colorist Academy (ICA). Students experience Core training during the first two days and the following days include Advanced training with HDR calibration. The PVA is the only organization to teach HDR calibration and how it relates to reference projector systems.
