Join our CoE-PHI Legal and Training Experts for a FREE national “Train-the-Trainer” webinar for Privacy and Compliance Officers who work within organizations that provide substance use disorder (SUD) services to provide them with tools and resources they can use to provide required training to staff in federal health privacy laws, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 (Part 2) .

The webinar TOT will include:
  • an overview of the training resources and how to use them

  • helpful tips for presenting information and links to key resources

  • access to these FREE training materials

The training packages address the following four areas:
  • Introduction to Federal Privacy Laws for Substance Use Disorder Treatment

  • When Does Part 2 Apply?

  • Sharing Part 2 Protected Information

  • Recent and expected changes to Federal Privacy Laws

Each training can be provided virtually or in-person in approximately 45 minutes to fit into busy work-days.
