Troy McAllister, Head Coach at Phillips Academy High School in Chicago IL has done something at Phillips Academy that no one else has been able to do. It's one of the BEST turnaround stories in the state. In this video Coach presents How To Use Your Fullback In The Read Option Offense. In 2010 Phillips was rated as the 2nd worst school in Illinois. Only 12 athletes showed up the first day of contact practice in the summer of 2010. Their record was 2-7 in a lower level Chicago Public School conference in year 1. In 2013 they won their 1st playoff game in school history and made the quarterfinals. In 2014 they were state runnerups. In 2015 they won the 4A Illinois State Championship. They now dress out over 100 players on 3 levels. Remarkable! The first Chicago Public School to win a state championship in Illinois.
