Pressuring the QB
The former Defensive Coordinator at Wabash College had a tough job ahead of him when he took over at Westfield in 2010, but a turnaround was never in doubt. Now, Coach Jake Gilbert has them rolling. The Shamrocks have gone 38-14 since 2013 which includes 2 trips to the state title game and a 2016 Indiana 5A State Championship. This video is a great tool at exploring possibilities of pressuring the QB within your own system.

| A couple of years ago we had the pleasure of working with Coach Jake Gilbert on a 4-3 video series and just knew we had to get him back when we did our Indianapolis Online Clinic on January 13, 2018. Thankfully he agreed and we got two more great presentations on defense. At our Indy Clinic Gilbert talked about Pressuring the QB and Pursuit and Tackling. These skills, strategies, and techniques can be used with ANY defense. |

Ben Davis High School went 14-0 in 2017. They won the state championship, finished the season ranked as the No. 1 team in Indiana and sixth in the nation. They also won the state championship in 2014. That’s quite a resume and we were fortunate and blessed to get Ben Davis head coach Mike Kirschner as our featured speaker for our Indianapolis Online Clinic.
