| | Sean Coultis, has been the Defensive Coordinator at Bolingbrook High School in the southwest suburbs of Chicago and the head coach at Evansville Central, Indiana. Bolingbrook won the state title in 2011 and Central was 21-4 in his two year stint as head coach from 2019-21. Coach Coultis believes they have made their 4-3 Quarters Defense simple for their athletes so they can play fast. They stay in one front, the 4-3 Over. By playing one front, Coultis believes the kids always know where to line up and allows them to play fast. It takes one more thing off their plate to learn. Coach likes to quiz his kids and call them up to the board and verify true understanding. He has plenty of diagrams and game footage to share as well as tons of trouble shooting tips. Coultis KNOWS his defense and KNOWS how to teach it.
