Meeting attendees were treated to two important takeaways that are vital for anyone in the CA Plex/2E community.
Support for PL/I on IBM I and Its Implications for CA 2E/Plex
Rumors that support for PL/I on IBM I will doom CA 2E / Plex are highly exaggerated. We shared reassuring comments from Broadcom and Tim Rowe of IBM, who made the original announcement. We published a blog post detailing the controversy for all to read.
October Conference Audio Improvements
A question came up about last year’s conference, which had occasional issues with audio quality for remote attendees during presentations. We heard you “loud and clear” last year, so we’ve taken steps to improve audio quality and ensure it’s a breeze for anyone and everyone to take in all of our great content, whether you’re in person or tuning in remotely.

Roger and the conference team opened the meeting with Plex/2E news and an update on the conference, scheduled for October 15-17, 2024, in Austin, Texas.
This year's conference theme will be leveraging AI and Machine Learning for the CA 2E/Plex/IBM i developer.
