Subject: Give the Gift of Opportunity Today!

Happy #GivingTuesday!
As we enter the holiday season and we look forward to spending time with family and loved ones, the City Youth Now team would like to thank you for your ongoing support and partnership.

In the past year, thanks to your contributions and collaborative support, City Youth Now has gone through significant transformation and growth.
  • We have increased our permanent staff to 4, which includes a new Executive Director and 3 new programmatic staff.
  • We have developed a Juvenile Justice Center basketball program where youth housed in juvenile hall have played the San Francisco Police Department and will play the SF Fire Department and members of the University of San Francisco community.
  • Our YPEE program (Youth Partnership for Education and Employment) has supported over 89 youth through hourly wage paid internships and college scholarships – this has included 14 new internship sites.
  • We have served over 650 youth through our various programs.
  • Our social media presence has increased by 40% in the last year.
As we continue to grow as an organization, City Youth Now is always learning how to serve our community better and center the needs of our diverse group of youth. We have the pleasure of witnessing the change that happens when we truly trust that each child is special and can become a hard-working and valuable member of our community when offered the right support.

As you consider your year-end giving, we invite you to continue your partnership with City Youth Now. Your gift helps ensure that San Francisco youth will continue to be supported in their time of most need. Thank you!

“I hope with my success in a chemistry degree I can continue on to medical school to become an anesthesiologist. Financially, all my worries are covered through my financial aid and scholarship I have received in the past. I am grateful to be having this experience I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. I am a Bobcat and a future UC graduate!”

– Celeste, a 2016 Ticket to Dream Scholarship winner and current UC Merced student
