Subject: Cinemapolis Recommends - Virtual Cinema & Home 🎥 Viewing Options - 5/6

Greetings, Cinemapolitans,

Our fifth week of virtual cinema offerings kicks off with FOUR great new titles this Friday.

All these new movies arriving does mean that we need to make some room, however. If you haven't yet checked out Other Music, A White, White Day, and The Wild Goose Lake, hop to it! All three are only available through the end of the day tomorrow, May 7th.

We're keeping a close watch on Governor Cuomo's plan to re-open the state. It's our sincere hope that we'll be back at the movies in some fashion this summer.

In the meantime, the full listing of all current and upcoming virtual films can be found on our Virtual Cinema page.

"A powerful and haunting chronicle of South African mining seen from the particular prism of its health impact on the men who have toiled underground.”

For over 120 years hundreds of thousands of black men from the countries of Southern Africa have left their families to dig for gold and produce the wealth of South Africa. The true cost of South Africa’s wealth is revealed by the juxta-positioning of present day gold miner stories with an archival voice created from state and mining records and repurposed industrial documentaries and propaganda films.

Directors: Catherine Meyburgh (co-director), Richard Pakleppa (co-director)

Presented in collaboration with the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival

VIRTUAL CINEMA:
