| | SCHEDULE OF SHOWTIMES JULY 13 - JULY 19 ALL SHOWTIMES BELOW VALID BEGINNING FRI, JUL 13 |
| | Greetings, Cinemapolitans! |
| We had some last minute date changes to our schedule, so we're starting the weekend with ONE new surprise opener on Friday:
- Award winning director Debra Granik (Winters Bone) returns to narrative film after an eight year absence with the "Certified Fresh" drama, Leave No Trace. Ben Foster and Thomasin McKenzie star as Will and Tom, a father and young daughter whose life in the wilderness is upset when their off-the-grid existence is discovered by social services. The resulting journey is a tender and heartbreaking exploration of familial love. Jordan Ruimy of the Playlist calls it "a universal, unforgettable experience."
And the week has more to offer than JUST this new opener. There are several special screenings on the way, including an animated anniversary event that begins TONIGHT! |
| Abramorama, Apple Corps Ltd. and UMG have teamed up to give Beatles fans of all ages the opportunity to come together and share in this visually stunning movie and soundtrack! Yellow Submarine has been restored in 4K digital resolution, and the film’s songs and score were remixed in 5.1 stereo surround sound at UMG’s Abbey Road Studios. Due to the delicate nature of the hand-drawn original artwork, no automated software was used in the digital clean-up of the film’s restored photochemical elements. This was all done by hand, frame by frame.

| Our friends from Ithaca Fantastik are here for a surprise summer edition of their Fantastik Film Friday series! The Devil's Doorway is a unique entry in the found footage genre, pulling a page from true Irish history to follow a pair of priests who are investigating the claim of a miracle at one of the infamous "Magdalene laundries." Expecting a hoax, they encounter something more supernatural and sinister.
