It's a very exciting Oscar® season, with every category filled with nominees that appeared (or will appear) on our screens. Each of the six films currently showing have at least one nomination, so we're holding all of them over for another week!
Additionally, some great special events are coming your way this week:
Fantastic Film Friday is back! In the first installment of 2015, IIFFF will present Love in the Time of Monsters. It's the story of two sisters who visit a cheesy tourist trap in the middle of the redwoods and soon find themselves attacked by their old friends and lovers, now transformed into toxic mutants wearing Bigfoot costumes. Not only do they have to survive the night with the rest of the colorful surviving characters, but they also have to find out how to reverse the infection and save the people they love. It's got babes, blood, beasts, and boobs, but it also has humor and a heart. AND it's written by Lansing native Michael Skvarla, who will be here for the ONE NIGHT ONLY screening - Friday, January 23rd at 9:30.
