| | Greetings Cinemapolitans!
As we head towards the Thanksgiving holiday, we start the weekend ONE new opener on Friday: - With Spotlight, writer/director Tom McCarthy (The Station Agent, Win Win) has assembled a remarkable cast to recount the true tale of the Boston Globe reporters that broke the story on the Catholic Church child abuse scandal. Led by award-worthy performances from Michael Keaton, Live Schreiber, Rachel McAdams and Mark Ruffalo, the film is already at the top of critics lists for the year. Indiewire calls it "the best film McCarthy has ever made...a fluid, deeply engrossing story of intelligent, dedicated people doing their jobs brilliantly (in a vanishing newspaper environment), and a choral performance showcase for a generous, mutually reinforcing ensemble of actors on inspired form."

| Also coming up this weekend are TWO sold out screenings of the stunning National Theatre Live presentation of Hamlet, starring Benedict Cumberbatch. But don't worry if you didn't get your tickets, we've just opened an unprecedented FIFTH screening of the play on Saturday, December 5 at 1:30. It's likely to sell out, as well, so don't dawdle! Buy online now!

| Then on Sunday at 2pm, we finish up our first year of the Family Classics Picture Show series with the screwball revival, What's Up, Doc? The series re-introduces the Golden Age of Hollywood to parents and kids with fun and affordable Sunday matinees, and will return in 2016 with a new slate of great titles!
The Family Classics Picture Show at Cinemapolis is made possible by lead sponsor Wells Fargo Advisors. Additional program support comes from Mama Goose. |
| PLEASE NOTE that this schedule runs just through Tuesday, November 24th. A whole slew of pre-holiday WEDNESDAY openers are coming up on the 25th.
While you're planning your next week at the movies, be sure to catch Truth soon. Its ends THIS Thursday (November 19). |
