| | Greetings, Cinemapolitans: |
| Before we get into the coming week's exciting line-up, just one note. Award season has arrived, and we've had MANY sold-out screenings over the past week. We recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to showtime to avoid lines at the box office and to guarantee a seat at your desired show.
With that out of the way, we're excited to welcome a new title this Friday from a Spanish master: - Winner of several awards at this year's Cannes Film Festival, Pain & Glory is a semi-autobiographical turn from Spanish auteur, Pedro Almodóvar. IndieWire's Eric Kohn says it's "the filmmaker’s best and most personal movie in years."
There's also a pack of special event screenings on the way, including the latest installment of a new series TONIGHT: |

When her grandson is kidnapped during the Tour de France, Madame Souza and her beloved pooch Bruno team up with the Belleville Sisters–an aged song-and-dance team from the days of Fred Astaire–to rescue him.
