| | Greetings, Cinemapolitans! |
| The first big fest weekend is coming, and ONE new opener comes with it on Friday:
- Academy Award nominated actor Jonah Hill makes his debut behind the camera with mid90s. This slice of life tracks the travails of Stevie, a pre-teen skater in LA as he navigates family disfunction and trying to hang with the cool kids. John DeFore of the Hollywood Reporter says it's "like Hill's Lady Bird, a gem that feels simultaneously informed by its author's adolescence and the product of a serious artist's observational distance."
