After nine years at the helm, and seeing the theater through the dark days of the COVID closure, it will be hard to say goodbye to Cinemapolis. But I’m confident that the staff and board will lead the cinema to even brighter days ahead. I’m not going far, so I will surely be joining you, the Cinemapolis family, as a fellow patron at Central New York’s premier art house.

The Cinemapolis Board has appointed a search committee to undertake the process of selecting a new executive director. A full position description and application process will be released in the coming days. During the search, all programming and operations will continue uninterrupted.
