Janet here! Won’t be long now. With just 2 days until our Weight Loss Kickstarter Challenge, I thought I’d get in touch to say hi and see if you’re getting excited and ready to embark on something truly different!

Now we’ve got that out the way and as we are starting a new 'relationship' of sorts, I thought it only fair that I pull the curtain back a little and tell you a little about me. This may seem a bit wacky or surprising but I would encourage you to suspend judgement for a bit and allow the weirdness to delight and surprise you!
So, here goes:

I’m 43 and have a wonderful teenage son from my previous marriage (my ex & I get on better now than we did together!)

I’ve been with my husband Paul for 8 years and last year he proposed on our favourite beach in Goa at sunset. We got married in January on that same beach in Goa at sunset 🌅 ❤️

I’ve had 24 surgeries but never broken a bone.

My claim to fame is having been a guest on the 'Freak or Unique' segment of Chris Evans old C4 show 'Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush'. (If you're old enough to remember that!)

I have a very weird double-jointed tongue (see Freak or Unique above…ps..I was crowned 'Unique'!)

I’m an award winning makeup artist (although I gave it up as a job some years ago). I did mainly beauty but have done some special effect work for TV (Holby City & Casualty)

In my 'real life', I own a successful garden maintenance business with my husband. We’ve also just launched a lawn care business too.

I can play the piano (pretty well) and the guitar (pretty badly!)

I’m the worse joke teller of all time although love to laugh at other people’s jokes.

I live by the mantra "Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should".
