New School Psychologist
Since the beginning of this school year, Doris von Matt has been working as a school psychologist at our school, dedicating 20% of her time to this role. She is the direct point of contact for children and adolescents and serves as an advisory resource for teachers concerning students with special needs. |

Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the School Association SEA
The 2023 Annual General Meeting of SEA was successfully held on 25 October. The required quorum was reached with 105 SEA member votes (in person and via proxy). In addition, all agenda items were successfully passed. Edu Café on the Topic “Discrimination”
Join us for an informative workshop on the topic of discrimination during our Edu Café on 2 November, from 7:45 to 09:00 a.m. in the Music Room at the RIS Swiss Section. During this event, you will gain practical skills that help you recognize, prevent, and effectively address instances of discrimination. No prior registration is required. |

Thai.Ger Football Tournament On 4 November from 9:00 onwards, the popular Thai-Ger Football Tournament will take place on our campus. To get everyone in the mood for this fantastic event, we invite the school community to gather in the sports hall on Friday, 3 November, before lunch. We will welcome our guests from our partner school in Chiang Mai (CDSC), who will participate in the football tournament with a U14 student team and a teacher/staff team. Additionally, we will introduce our RIS Swiss Section school teams (U8, U10, U12, U14), who will compete in this year's Thai.Ger Tournament as Bulldogs FA teams.

Student Feedback to Teachers
From 30 October to 10 November, we are conducting a student feedback survey of all teachers. From kindergarten to grade 12, students at our school provide feedback using a standardised questionnaire that provides information about how they experience the teaching of our teachers. |

Learning development meetings (LEG)
From 6 to 17 November, the homeroom teacher/coach will organize an individual 30-minute meeting between the teacher/coach, parents, and student. From grade 3 onwards, the basis for these discussions will be the learning development form, completed by your child (self-assessment) and all of your child's teachers (external assessment), along with a current grade report. Following the Learning development meetings (LEG), you can schedule individual discussion appointments with your child's subject teachers. Discussions will occur in preschool and grades 1 and 2 without the children. The focus will be on the holistic assessment of your child. |

Lantern Parade
On 9 November, the school will hold a St. Martin's Day celebration, with a play and a lantern parade through the Moobaan across the street from the school. The students from Lernzwerge to grade 3 will participate in this event. However, everyone is welcome to join in this celebration. |

RIS International Food
The famous RIS International Food Fair is taking place on 10 November, and we are participating in a homemade cake sale. We actively seek assistance baking, selling cakes, or supporting our kitchen team. If you're interested in contributing, please register via this link. |

Afternoon Courses and Courses for Parents Season 2 of the afternoon courses will start on 13 November. However, the Bulldogs Football Academy and the Dance Academy are organised into two semesters and run throughout the entire school year. Open House Day On Thursday, 23 November, we will open our classrooms to our parents. The teachers and all the students welcome you to visit our school on this day from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to get an idea of our mutual work in the classroom. |

Loy Krathong On 27 November, it is Loy Krathong Day. The traditional celebration of the "Festival of Lights" is among the largest and most beautiful in Thai culture. Together with our Thai faculty, we cordially invite the entire school community to the school's Loy Krathong opening ceremony at 9:35 a.m.

German Language Diploma Level II On Tuesday, 29 November, our students from grade 11 will take the DSD II written exam. This demanding language exam enables our students to have their aptitude for the German language certification at the C1 level, thus fulfilling the language requirements set by German-speaking universities. We wish them every success! |

Christmas Celebration
We invite the school community to kick off the festive season together on 14 December, starting from 2:00 p.m., at our beloved Christmas Celebration. There are now classes in the morning. Students will meet at their classrooms at 1:00 p.m.
The Christmas market committee is still looking for sellers of toys, games, handicrafts, gifts, sweets, finger foods, snacks, etc., to participate.

Long-term Planning: Cultural Festival 2024 From 20-24 March 2024, we will host the cultural festival at our school. During this time, 48 students aged 13-18 from 4 German schools abroad in the Asian region will visit us.
