Project Management Certification,
Project Management as a profession has been with us for many years, but I often find project managers seldom have formal qualifications, many of us have learnt on the job, and then quite by chance become known as project managers, and hence the label sticks. Is project management seen as a stepping stone to a different position in the organisation, or possibly the value of a project manager is not recognised within the organisation. It seems most project managers I encounter are either studying a formal qualification in business management, finance or accounting.
