It can be very difficult to be a Catholic at a university--any university.
Your children will not always be surrounded by good examples, they may not have much of a support system for their faith, and the stresses that come with being away from home will be just as real for them as anyone else.
However, these difficulties may be the very opportunity they need to mature in their faith, and grow in virtue.
In this kind of environment, if they choose to follow Our Lord, they will hold to Him all the more strongly.
But they will need some support, some good examples to look to. At the very least, sending them with holy images of Our Lord, Our Lady, and the saints can give them something to hold on to and meditate on throughout their college years.
We are praying for you and your children, that these years may be fruitful for everyone.
