We sent Pope Francis a birthday card, once. It was a spiritual bouquet |
|
|
... with 10,000 real signatures gathered from teens at NCYC that November |
|
|
... and digital signatures gathered online, with everyone promising to pray or perform a work of mercy on Pope Francis' behalf. |
|
|
We packaged the signatures with an oversize triptych card of his favorite Marian devotion: Undoer of Knots. |
|
|
|
|
This nice lady at the Steubenville post office took care of shipping it to Italy for us. |
|
|
And a few months later, Pope Francis' secretary's secretary wrote us back. |
|
|
