2021 Lantern Parade

The St. Nicholas Day Lantern Parade is a tradition inspired from the

"Klausjagen" (Nicholas Chase) in Switzerland and the "Laternelaufen" (Lantern Walk) in Germany. Each year, we gather and follow St. Nicholas through the streets of Steubenville, singing traditional carols and carrying our lanterns to the Nativity Creche. Join us on December 5th for this year's Lantern Parade! Click for more details below!

Christmas Tree Competition!

You are invited to participate in a Christmas Tree Decorating Contest at the Steubenville Nutcracker Village - with a charitable twist! This year, local businesses, service clubs, and individuals/families are encouraged to compete for the best decorated Christmas tree! With cash prizes up to $1000, the top three winners will be able to choose a charitable organization to represent and donate to! For entry forms and more details, visit our website below!
(Psst, entry forms are due no later than November 12th!)
