CANDLEMAS:

The Feast of the Presentation

Today, on February 2nd, we celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus in the Jerusalem Temple (Luke 2:22-38).

On this day, the prophet Simeon called the infant Christ "a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and glory for your people Israel."

In remembrance of Christ as the Light of the World, the Christian tradition of blessing candles in Church on this day began, as well as lighting many during processions before the Liturgy on this feast.

Remember the Light of the World in your own home with our assortment of Forestville Candle Company candles, handmade right here in Steubenville, OH!

Each candle scent is carefully formed in honor of a Saint, and can help bring devotion and relaxation together in your home!

Today only, SAVE 10% on candles in celebration of Candlemas!
