If I preach the Gospel, this is no reason for me to boast, for an obligation has been imposed on me. But woe to me if I do not preach it!
Brothers and Sisters, every year, more children are being killed by abortion in America than genocides have killed during their entire operations. Right now, we are witnessing public figures, claiming to be “practicing Catholics”, with an immense capacity of influential and legal power professing that this is a human right. We seem to have been frightened by the “political” nature of this event, and are standing by as the pastoral scandal of allowing these figures to receive Jesus Christ in the most Holy Eucharist continues. As our Catholic Code of Canon Law states, "those obstinately persevering in manifest grave sin are not to be admitted to holy communion", and we stand for this belief. God is the author of life, and we have no right to intervene with this. Allowing these members of the Catholic family to receive Christ is not only wrong, but it furthers the continuation of this modern day genocide. And it leads those influenced to be desensitized to the severe immoral gravity this act holds.
