Designed in Steubenville in 2011, this powerful combination of the beloved Hyla Divine Mercy image with a graphic cross and crown of thorns has become a miniature icon of the trademark Catholic to the Max style: a bold fusion of traditional sacred art with modern graphic design and creative manufacturing.

JPII Pope on a Mission Standee

This familiar image of a young Fr. Karol Wojtyła, the man who would become St. John Paul II, was featured on the original Catholic to the Max t-shirt, created in 2002 for sale at World Youth Day.

The hope was to instill an image of a young and vigorious Pope John Paul II in the minds of youth, who at the time tended to think of the aging Holy Father as irrelevant or simply nostalgic.

The image of a cool JPII was a hit and eventually found its way into our "Saint Standee" line.

The Giotto Crucifix

One of the most famous depictions of Christ by the pre-renaissance master Giotto Di Bondone, this crucifix is both theologically complex as well asthetically beautiful. 

The Giotto crucifix is an iconic microcosm of the late-middle ages battle waged against the Cathar heresy, which taught a false dichotomy between Christ as True God, and Christ as True Man.
