Thank you to People Powered Retrofit supporters! 🎉

The People Powered Retrofit share issue officially closed last night (November 30th) after smashing our target and raising over £750,000. We will be sharing the final amount raised with everyone today, but it is safe to say that we will be scaling up the People Powered Retrofit service massively in 2022 thanks directly to the incredible backing we have received from our members and supporters.


You may have seen our Heat Pump Challenge on twitter! As we are gearing up to go, we have released a new resource giving more background about the project and how you can take part or follow along. For people who have registered we will be contacting you directly with more information about participating.

People Powered Retrofit to tackle climate change

 

The People Powered Retrofit share issue has closed, and beaten our biggest targets. With this success we can now focus on scaling up the service to retrofit more homes and tackle climate change together. New Heat Pump Challenge resource

On December 14th we are pleased to be joined by Nick Parsons, a leading trainer and retrofit consultant for the next in our series of ‘Ask the Expert’ webinars. The event is a chance for main contractors, general builders, joiners, designers, architects, and consultants to have your retrofit questions answered and to meet other professionals. We are winners! Carbon Co-op wins Ashden Award

At the Glasgow COP26 we were announced as winners of the 2021 Ashden Award for UK Green Skills. Our People Powered Retrofit service won this global climate prize for ground breaking work on domestic energy efficiency and retrofit, rolling out a new end to end service for householders and training over 1,000 people in construction green skills.
