COVID–19 Campus Update Big Sandy, Texas IBLP and IAA staff,
In order to comply with the Executive Order from Governor Greg Abbott we will make the following changes here at our Big Sandy campus:
1. If staff are able to do their work from home, they will be encouraged and directed by supervisors to do so.
2. Supervisors will work with each staff member to determine if they are needed on campus in an essential service capacity.
3. If a staff member is working on campus in an essential service capacity, they should:
A. Practice social distancing guidelines whenever they are working or near another person.
B. Staff members coming into work should check their temperatures each morning to be sure they are not above the 100.4 degrees F. threshold. If their temperature is at or above this temperature they should remain at home and report their condition to their supervisor by telephone, text, or email.
C. Again, employees are to remain home if there are any symptoms or signs that an illness is coming on.
D. Minimize gatherings and practice hygiene by washing hands, avoiding the touching of their face, and consider wearing a mask should they be near other people in their work areas. Use hand sanitizer often, especially after touching door handles, light switches, stair railings, etc.
4. The front door of the Administration building will be locked and the back door will remain open for staff needing access to the building.
5. The Finance Department will remain open if there are any needs they can address.
6. If you have any further questions, speak with your director or supervisor, and if you believe you cannot work or should not work because of the Governor’s order, please contact Rian Bass in Finance for an explanation on how to submit your time in TSheets.
Please pray for our government leaders, health officials, and medical personnel as they try to guide the nation in practices they believe will aid in the reduction of the COVID-19 infection rate.
Sincerely in Christ, Tim Levendusky
