Conference Messages
We just completed our conference season. Thank you for all your prayers and support. If you would like to listen to any of the messages before they are released on Embassy Media, you're welcome to contact Samuel Vanderford to borrow the MP3's.
ALERT Family Camp
We are excited to invite our staff to participate in our "S'More Family" promotion this year. "S'More Families" was designed for veteran Family Campers to invite families who have never yet come to Family Camp. For our Family Campers, this means the new family receives complimentary registration fees while the host family receives 50% off. For our staff who invite families* to camp, your guest will receive 50% off their registration fees. Please have your friends call 903-636-9201 to register with your name as a referral.

*New families are defined as families (2+ individuals, including a head of house) who have never attended an ALERT Family Camp. Your friends may purchase lodging and meals if desired, but Family Camp Registration will cost them nothing. Please note that this discount excludes meals and lodging and applies to your registration costs only.
Family Camp Community Day
Invite your friends and family to a FUN & FREE* afternoon of outdoor games, hay rides, petting zoo, and more! Stay for dinner on the grounds and an exciting demonstration by horse-trainer Dr. Lew Sterrett as he shares a Christ-centered message on horseback under the stars.

Tuesday, October 13
2:00 PM County Fair
5:00 PM Dinner on the Grounds*
7:00 PM Sermon on the Mount

For more information, please contact us at 903-636-9201.

Leadership Corner | Maj. Boulden
As we get ready to make the final push to the end of the year, let's remember that long-lasting change comes slowly. Its comes through small adjustments. As we engage with the problems at hand, it turns out that our impact changes based on how we stand, what we believe, and the ways we interact with the systems right in front of us. Get the strategy right, then implement small changes, repeated with persistence and generosity.
Battalion Update | Capt. Vanderford
Last week was busy for the battalion. Nearly all the students were out between 3 different trips. Tech Rescue was at Mt. Magazine in Arkansas doing scenarios to put their rope rescue skills to the test in a fun real-world environment. CST was in the Northwoods in conjunction with the Family Conference. Some of them helped in the ACC and some assisted with maintenance projects on the property. 2nd phase was out in DeRidder, LA tarping roofs and removing trees that were destroyed by hurricane Laura. Tech Rescue will be finishing this week and 5 students will begin Fire Academy on Monday. Please pray for Stephen Winchell as there is a lot to do with Tech Rescue, 2nd phase fire class, working at Longview and preparing for Fire Academy. Also pray that God to do His work in our hearts in these last 2 weeks of the quarter.
