Active Runway
With Flight Camp training in high gear, please use caution around the airstrip and check for activity before crossing—even if the gates are not down. The runway will be extremely active for the next 6 weeks. |
| New Gate Code
Staff: 9547 Staff GUEST: 8374 (please give this code to friends coming on campus to visit you)
Both of these new codes are currently active and open the main campus and Faculty Row gates. Gate Code 2274 will be removed one week from now. |
| Gate Remotes
If your gate remote is not opening the front gate, you're welcome to visit the Operations Department and swap it out for a updated remote with the correct programming. |
| Sewing Room
The Sewing Room will be occupied for the next several weeks with the sewing needs of Basic Training. If you're able to postpone your own sewing requests until after Friday, September 22, that would be most helpful.

| Family Camp Assignment Preferences
We're so glad we can serve together on this campus with you to share Christ's love with those around us. We will have a limited crew this year, but we appreciate all you will do (and have already done!) to jump in and make Family Camp an event that blesses the families from our own community and those who come from across the nation.
If you would like a voice in your Family Camp Assignment :), please have your Family Camp Assignment Preferences entered by Tuesday, September 12. Thanks again for all you will do during Family Camp—it takes teamwork, and we're glad you're a part of this team. |
| Convention Center
As we continue Family Camp preparations, please remove all personal items from the Convention Center by Thursday, September 14. |
| Campus Wide Garage Sale Due to the weather, the Campus Wide Garage Sale has been postponed one week. It will now be held September 8–9 in the Convention Center. If you are interested in participating, or have any large items that you would like advertised, please text Mrs. Weiss at 813-951-3522. |
| Battalion Update | SMaj. Hawley A new training semester is now in full swing with 5 men in the diving program, 5 enrolled in the flight class, 1 in Campus Support and 3 in the Mobile Response Team (who are currently in Wisconsin for the Green Lake Conference).
Thank you for your prayers as we finished ERT with a quick trip to Victoria, Texas where we were able to offer aid to those suffering after the effects of hurricane Harvey. We spent two and a half full days cutting trees, hauling them off of houses and out of yards, cleaning up debris, and putting tarps on roofs that had been wind damaged. With these deployments there comes the tremendous opportunity to interact with the homeowners whose lives are shaken from their accustomed routine and security. As the homeowners watch the men come and happily serve them wherever needed, it brings great opportunities to share the Gospel and the reason behind our service. Please pray that God would bring growth in the hearts of the homeowners through the truth that was shared with them and the Bibles that were given. |
| Basic Training Update | Lt. Boulden Cadre Training is in full swing with Unit 58 starting this Friday Night! We are continuing to train and prepare for the task of leading these men. Please be in prayer for the Cadre as we get ready for the new 43 Recruits coming in. Pray that the men coming in would be ready to jump into the training that lies ahead. That they would have open hearts to what God wishes to do with the time here.
The road barriers are up over by Basic Training and we would ask that you would start getting in the habit of using other roads to get to and from Facility Row. This helps insure for the safety of our men.
R-Night will be starting this Friday, September 8 at 6:30 pm in the gym, and we invite all families and staff to attend if they would like. Please be in the gym and seated by 6:15 pm so that we can start promptly. After the recruits are dismissed to bring in their gear, we would ask that you would leave the gym as quickly and as quietly as you can. Thank you for all the prayer and support during that next nine weeks!
