| Unit 65 R-Night
Dinner on Monday, September 27 will be at 5:00 PM. R-Night will start promptly at 6:30 PM in the Gym.

| Basic Training Update
All of the men for Unit 65 arrived safely for Basic Training last Thursday. After three days of Indoc Training, the men will start their official training this evening at 6:30 in the gym. This is an open event so please feel free to come out and support the new Unit. The rest of the week will be spent moving in, learning all of the rules and regulations, and starting their baseline classes on navigation and rope skills. Please be in prayer for us and the men under our care.
|
| Battalion Update
CST will be out for 2 more weeks finishing some projects at the Northwoods property, helping with a father/son camp in Pennsylvania, and doing more flood relief in the Detroit area. Flight and EMT were scheduled to be on deployment this week in New Orleans to assist with hurricane relief but plans for that are changing so they may be on campus this week.
Please pray for God’s direction for this potential deployment and for God to continue working in the men’s hearts.

| Leadership Corner
The kind of leadership that got us into these roles won't necessarily help us achieve the next level of leadership. Reality changes so quickly that leaders cannot become arrogant but must instead remain in a learning posture. At the same time, team members long for their leader to inspire them with confidence. There’s nothing less confidence-inspiring than a person faking knowledge they don’t possess. True authority and true leadership come from knowing who you are and not pretending to be anything else.
