| Mayflower Minutes 很好 means "very good," and this is what the Affirming Biblical Foundations conference was for the Mayflower Group! The adults participated in the main sessions, while the younger ones enjoyed the Children's Program. Our IBLP director in Taiwan, Dr. Stephen Chen, flew in to help translate for the group. Not only did Dr. Bob Fu of China Aid provide an excellent closing session to the conference, but we also appreciated all the other Chinese visitors and international guests who joined us for the workshop as well. Overall, we are thanking the Lord for a week that was 很好. |
| Battalion Update | Capt. Vanderford Last week included firefighting class and was capped off with a very busy scenario day on Friday. Our flight student continues to work steadily toward his license. The men completed peer evaluations on Saturday and will receive the compiled evaluations this week. Class this week and next will be spent training toward Open Water, Advanced Open Water, and Special Response Diver certifications. Please pray for good opportunities for the leadership to invest in their men, and for strength to stay engaged until the end for both students and leadership. |
