Current COVID–19 Protocols
Per the email from Dr. Levendusky on July 2 (full letter linked below), the ministry has implemented the following protocols —
  • No noon-time staff or prayer meetings.
  • If you can work from home, you are welcome to do so.
  • Staff are asked to take their own temperatures at home before coming to work each day and to keep a written record (please see attachment).
  • Staff are asked to wear masks in the workplace whenever we cannot remain socially distant from one another.
These guidelines are intended to slow the spread of the virus and serve as another step in showing that we are doing all we can to comply with COVID-19 workplace safety practices and interacting with the public being served by our ministries.

Leadership Corner | Maj. Boulden
There are two kingdoms at work. The first is the kingdom of God. These are the things that are right in the world. But the second kingdom at work is the kingdom of me. This kingdom says, “I want!” “Me!” and “Mine!”

Our lives are often a tale of two kingdoms. If we get it right, the kingdom of God wins and we feel satisfied. But if the kingdom of me is winning, we find were never satisfied. Jesus taught us the way to overcome the kingdom of me: die to self. The only thing more terrifying than dying to yourself is living for yourself. There is no end to the sad discontentment of making you the mission of your life.

When I realize the kingdom of self is winning out, we must purify our motives and elevate the mission of the kingdom of God. Confess and repent. Die to yourself. If we do nothing else this next semester, lets live for the right kingdom. "Forge On!" Whatever it takes.
