Morning Prayer Meeting There will be a voluntary special mid-summer morning prayer meeting this Wednesday, July 12 at 6 AM in the Administration Building. We will gather at the front desk on the first floor and then move to different areas in the building for prayer in smaller groups.

| Blood Drive Sign Up Carter BloodCare will be here this Saturday, July 15. You can sign up to donate here! Some of our students will be signing up today (Monday), so if staff could wait to sign up until Tuesday, July 11, that would be great! |
| Baby Shower for Christen & Laura Ladies are invited to a baby shower honoring Christen Patrick and Laura Paine on Monday, July 17, from 6–8 PM in the Faculty Dining Room. Please see the invitation for registry and group gift info. Feel free to contact Valerie Waller with any questions! |
| Missing Blowers Operations is missing two handheld blowers — one electric DeWALT and the other a gas-powered STIHL. If you happen across these power tools, Ops would be happy to have them back. |
| Staff Dorm Cleaning Thank you for your incredible support in hosting the SWEPCO linemen during the Father's Day power outage. They were blown away with your hospitality and kindness.
We are hosting another Staff Dorm Cleaning next Thursday, July 20, in Dogwood at 8:30 AM. Coffee and treats provided! Please text Michele Weiss to sign up for your favorite cleaning responsibility. Again, thank you for all your help and support! |
| Mayflower Minutes Last week, the Mayflower group enjoyed their first 4th of July in the USA! They participated in a Children's Parade and enjoyed ALERT's cookout with hamburgers, hot dogs, and fixings. They were also able to join in volleyball, frisbee, and other games during the festive picnic. Thank you for welcoming and celebrating freedom with them! |
| Battalion Update | Capt. Vanderford On Monday of last week, the Battalion was able to help the Kilgore Police Department with a search for a missing person. They were able to locate the man after about two hours of searching. Also, this past Saturday, some of our guys were able to assist with parking in Gilmer for the funeral of a long-time Longview firefighter. Sawyer training and practicals went well last week; the guys learned a lot, and we are grateful for the safety God provided. 2nd Phase is beginning rope rescue training this week. Please continue to pray for endurance and health for the men as they spend significant time outside in the heat this week. Please also pray for God to do the work in men’s hearts that only He can do.
