The conference will start Thursday evening and conclude the following night. Lunch and Dinner will be provided on Friday for those attending the conference. We do ask that families schedule their own childcare. For employees, Friday will be an 8 hour paid day to attend (not to incur overtime for the week). Battalion Update | SMaj. Hawley
As the third week of our summer training starts, it's hard to believe that two weeks of this summer semester have already come and gone. The twelve men in ERT have finished up High Angle and are starting their Structural Fire Fighting training, while the Leadership and Communications class continues with Captain Boulden.

Our primary focus/emphasis this quarter is on the depth and preeminence of the gospel, as this quote from C.J. Mahaney so applicably states: "Never be content with your current grasp of the gospel. The gospel is life-permeating, world-altering, universe-changing truth. It has more facets than a diamond. Its depths man will never exhaust.”

Please pray for all of us as we look at the gospel and search our hearts— that we would grow in our understanding of what God has done and in who we are in Christ. That we would see and hear the reality and depth of the call of Christ through the gospel on every aspect of our lives. That the gospel would permeate and transform every desire and the very direction of our lives.
