Prayer and Fasting | Dr. Levendusky
To all staff and families,

Thank you for setting apart the time on Tuesday, June 9, for prayer and fellowship with the Lord and one another. The work and projects that we normally do for the Lord are being set aside so that we might spend time with Him in prayer and meditation on His Word.

The linked schedule shows the start of the day from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. as a time of reading the Scripture (Psalm 90-91), reflection, and prayer with your family at home or with a housemate/roommate before joining the rest of the staff at the Dining Room (Big Sandy staff) or the Staff Meeting Room (Oak Brook staff) at 9:45. After a short devotional, we will divide up into small groups for the first corporate prayer session for the day.

Most of the time during the day should be spent near the large meeting room for special video messages, small group prayer, departmental group prayer, as well as the closing portion of the day together. The staff and families will close out the day with a pot-trust meal together at 5:30 p.m.

Thank you for making this effort to join in for what may be, with God’s blessing, the most important day of the year for our ministries.

Leadership Corner | Maj. Boulden
As we take these next few weeks to recalibrate ourselves for the upcoming semester take some time for self-reflection. How can we ourselves become "essential workers" for the mission?

What do I really need to be my best “self” today?
What should I eliminate that only drags me down?
What equips me to steward my time best and get the most out of it?
What can I do to become life-giving to people today as I interface with them?
