Leadership Corner: Take Your Time
“Take your time” means two very different things. If your time is taken for selfish reasons and wasted, there’s no good way to get it back. On the other hand, to take your time to be present, to do the work, to engage with what’s in front of you right now, it’s a gift. This is precisely what time is for. We’re not in a race to check off as many boxes as we possibly can before we are out of time. Instead, we have the chance to use the time to create moments that matter. Take your time this summer to rest, connect, and do the work that really matters.
Battalion Update | Capt. Vanderford
Well, the end of this week marks the halfway point of training weeks in 2021. Looking back, I am very grateful for the work God has done in the past 5 months and for His mercy and goodness to us along the way. CST and Cadre returned Sunday and Monday evening respectively from 2 very good deployments over the weekend. Between celebratory events and preparation for Graduation, this week will see the battalion doing some activity just about every morning and evening. Please pray for families and our graduates as they are traveling to campus and back home, and pray for faithfulness and discipline as many of the men return home.
