| Ladies JTTH Any of our campus mothers and daughters are invited to join either our Mother's or Young Ladies' Journey to the Heart, hosted and run separately on campus, June 1-8, at no cost. Please prayerfully consider joining other ladies on this Journey as we all seek to grow closer to the Lord and say “yes” to the Lord in each area of our lives. Details online here.
Use the coupon code: STAFFFAM2024 to register for the Journey at no charge. (Please register by May 22 for planning purposes.) This is a taxable benefit to employees and will show up as such on the year-end tax form of employees who take advantage of this discipleship opportunity.
We hope you can join us for this special and potentially life-changing week of seeking the Lord together! |
| Campus and Home Water Conservation As we continue with the process of the reconditioning of the campus wells, we are very close to completing the reconditioning of the first well. We are praying that as we complete this process on each of the wells, it will improve the flow rate and correct the iron problems we have been having in the wells. So far, things are looking promising. However, as Nathan and Jared will be working on this in the months ahead, it is important for all of us to have a mentality of conserving water. As the summer months approach, water usage tends to increase and so we are very thankful for any and all conservation efforts that you can make that will save water and help to keep the monthly water expense as low as possible.

| Staff Dorm Cleaning As we continue to navigate staffing transitions and anticipate multiple events in the days ahead, if anyone is available to help us tackle another Staff Dorm Cleaning, we'd love your help! Anyone who is interested can join us on Tuesday, May 28, at Dogwood at 8:30 AM. This would be paid time for any available employees. Coffee and treats will be provided—hope you can join us!

| Battalion Update | Capt. Vanderford The Construction unit will be in Alaska for almost two more weeks and EMT continues with clinicals this week. The Missions unit continues with Class this week, including having a veteran missionary to Mexico as a guest instructor, and Dive will have some class and a lot of practical training this week. The whole battalion is really feeling the grind of 17 weeks of early mornings and full days, and many of the men are feeling weary. Please pray for encouragement and endurance for the men and that they will be able to maintain a good perspective even through the challenges that come at the end of the quarter. Please also continue to pray for energy, refreshment, and wisdom for each man in the leadership team as we endeavor to invest well in the men.

| Basic Training Update | Capt. Hawley Thank you for praying for Unit 70 on their Endurance Hike. The men did exceptionally well and the weather was much better than expected. This coming week of training is known as Navigational-Medical Week or Nav-Med week. Over the week, the men will be sent out on different scenarios to be tested on all of the skills they have learned throughout their time in Basic. Continue to pray that the men stay safe throughout the week and that they continue to hone their skills as they are further challenged to grow as men for Christ.
