Battalion Update | Capt. Vanderford
Last week was a great week for the Battalion. Aquatics enjoyed Tactical Diver training here on Campus, Construction spent a good part of the week on a roofing project off campus, and Missions did a three-day wilderness scenario in the mountains of Arkansas at the end of the week. This week is called “Frog Week” for Aquatics and will be another intense time of training for them. Missions will depart on Thursday morning for their trip to Chiapas, MX. Construction plans to finish the roofing project in Longview and continue with the hangar project. EMT continues clinicals as well as some class days this week. Flight guys will be flying a lot in preparation for their upcoming check-rides.
Basic Training Update | Maj. Boulden
This coming week the men will be participating in their Solo Hike and the Basic Responder Challenge from Monday through Friday. During these two events, the men are tested in almost every area of training that they have received this far. Pray for the men that they will continue to push themselves to the end of Basic Training and not miss the lessons they have yet to learn.
