Secret Church
SMaj. Kilpatrick will be hosting a simulcast of the David Platt Secret Church on Friday, April 26 from 6:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight. (Please arrive early.) The Secret Church is a six hour Bible Teaching and Prayer Gathering in Washington D.C. that will be live streamed in the Field House Dining Room. Along with being challenged in prayer, fasting, and the pursuit of God, participants will spend focused time praying for the persecuted church in Somalia.

Please note that dinner will be served at 4:30 PM on Friday, in preparation for the evening.

Prayer and Fasting | Dr. Levendusky
In conjunction with the “Secret Church” program that is being planned, I would like to encourage all of our staff to make Friday, April 26, 2019, a day of prayer and fasting. This is a special opportunity to join together as a staff and community, but also with other believers around the world. May the persecuted church and those who serve as missionaries to those countries be a focus for that day as well as within our own prayer closets more regularly.
Gym Closed
The gym will be closed for the next two weeks in preparation for the conference.
Pest Control
If you would like the outside of your house to be included in the list of buildings to be treated next week, please contact Crystal Dudley.
Thank You from NCFCA
For those of you who helped judge during the tournament, the NCFCA Staff were very grateful for all your help and support: "NCFCA and all the parents appreciate the many hours of time that you donated to judge our speech and debate students at the Big Sandy tournament. We are confident that the investment you made in their lives will have lasting benefits, and we hope you were inspired and encouraged by what you heard. It would be our pleasure to see you again at future tournaments. Thank you for judging!"
Battalion Update | Maj. Boulden

Basic Training is halfway done! The men will be spending the week across the lake camping out and going through their Survival Week training.

Leadership Corner | Maj. Boulden
Another week full of opportunity to disciple and mentor this generation of young people. In some way, all of us are in a mentoring position. We have a voice and an opportunity to speak truth into those around and under us. Here are 9 things that "Millennials/Gen Z" do not want when it comes to mentorship: Superficial discussions. Structured meetings. Inconsistent times together. Watered-down theological discussions. No life-on-life experiences. Shallow vulnerability. Cultural Christianity. Denominational positioning. Lifestyle hypocrisy. More about Mentoring Millennials
