Staff Lunch Dish Crew Teams
The following Staff Lunch Dish Crews have been arranged to help share the load of cleanup after staff lunch each week. Please find a substitute for yourself and notify your team leader if you will not be there on your week. Please note that everyone will still be responsible to clean/sweep under their own tables in the Dining Room. Of course, additional help in the kitchen and dining room is always welcome!
Staff Mosquito Fogging | Facilities
We want to let everyone know that Mosquito Authority may be coming out to spray for mosquitoes in the next few weeks (most likely after the Family Conference). If you would like the area around your house treated, please let Susanna Kientz know by April 21 by emailing sbkientz@iblp.org. The final cost for this treatment will be $53.04. Once we have a confirmed date, payment should be given to Finance as soon as possible, preferably before they spray your location.

Ladies (of all ages), please come join us in celebrating the upcoming marriage of Esther Staddon and Jonathan Frazer with a bridal shower and an evening of fellowship! Leadership Corner: Slow to Speak
As we lead our teams, we will inevitably run into conflict and disagreement. We can make the mistake of thinking they we have to have an answer for everything and hold an opinion on every issue. Being slow to speak can be our best friend during these high emotion, high tension, and opposing opinion moments. Let's listen, learn, lead, and forge on!

"Patient silence is the best reply to a world of cruel opposition. Calm endurance answers some questions infinitely more conclusively than the loftiest eloquence... Did not the silent Lamb of God furnish us with a grand example of wisdom? Where every word was the occasion for new blasphemy, it was the line of duty to provide no fuel for the flame of sin. The ambiguous and the false, the unworthy and mean will soon enough confound themselves, and therefore the true can afford to be quiet and find silence to be its wisdom." - C.H. Spurgeon
Basic Training: Week Four
Basic Training will hit its halfway point this coming week! The days are long but the weeks are short, we like to say. This week the men will continue their training in ropes systems by taking classes in Alternative River Crossing and putting their First Aid training to the test with a few short field exercises. They will also be taking their next big step in endurance training with the 12-Hour hike on Friday. Continue to be in prayer for these men as they tackle each obstacle that comes their way.
