| Battalion Update | Capt. Vanderford The Dive and Flight units returned Saturday from a good deployment in Rolling Fork, MS, and EMT headed out yesterday to serve for a week in the same community. The flight students are working toward their solo flights today. Please pray for safety and good skill as they work toward this exciting milestone! The Dive unit is doing a joint swift water rescue class with some members of the Longview Fire Department. They will be off campus much of the week. Please pray for their safety and good conditions for them as they train. Missions are continuing their classes and will leave at the end of the week for a two-week service and training trip to Indiana and Pennsylvania. Construction will return from Maine at the end of this week.
|
| Basic Training Update | Maj. Boulden Week three of Basic Training is off and running! The men will spend most of the week building on their navigation, ropes, and knots skills and taking different Repelling and River Crossing classes. The men will do the 6-Hour Hike at the end of this week. Please pray for them as we ramp up the pressure and help "forge" these men for the Kingdom.
