Good Friday
This Friday, April 14 is a Staff Holiday, so our usual Rise Up Session will be held instead on Wednesday. There will also be a Good Friday service at Col. Behr's home, Friday, April 14 at 4 pm, if anyone is interested in attending.
Prayer and Fasting | Dr. Levendusky
Thursday will be a day of prayer and fasting. Rather than meeting at the traditional noon time, we will have all available people sign up for an hour during the day to go to the Faculty Dining room to pray. Check with your supervisor for a time you would like to sign up for prayer. Families are also welcome to sign-up for a time slot as well.

All through the day there will be people going to the prayer room (with supervisor’s permission) to pray at the top of each hour (9 a.m., 10 a.m., noon, 1 p.m…) rather than one group meeting at noon.

When people go to the prayer time, there will be a passage (Psalm 63) which a person may use to guide them in prayer, either individually, or preferably, with another person or two (depending on who signed up for that time.) Thus, prayer time will be a come-and-go schedule around the hour mark all day.
Stay in the Know!
The large Event Summary for the upcoming Conference was sent out last Friday. Please go through the document and let us know if you have any feedback. Staff Assignments are expected to go out early this week as well.

Also, please note that CAP will be on Campus this weekend, using the Campground and the Tower.
Name Tags
Please contact Operations by today, Monday, April 10 if you need a new staff name tag for the Conference.
Meals for Conference
Grateful our staff has the opportunity to mingle with our guests, and to show their appreciation for all the diligent work that goes into conference—Leadership will be covering over half of the usual cost for staff meals.

$2/adult, $1/child meals for staff will begin Saturday, April 22 and conclude with dinner on Saturday, April 29. Please RSVP for meals by Friday, April 14. Even a close estimate would help the kitchen so much as they order and prepare food/schedules for the conference.

If you will be volunteering with a specific department during conference, please check with your supervisor to be approved for a volunteer meal card.
You’re Invited! | Family Day
Campus families are invited to join local families from our community for Family Day. This one-day event is designed to be a time of fellowship, encouragement, and service for families. The day will begin at 9 AM in the Fieldhouse Dining Room with time in the Word. Families will then participate in a craft and fellowship. Those attending Family Day will join our staff prayer time and meal afterwards. (Families will be bringing their own meals.) After lunch, families will assist with various projects on the campus. Family Day will conclude around 3 PM, although families are welcomed to stay and fellowship. If you would like to come, please RSVP here.
Baby Shower for the LaLone’s
As the LaLone’s prepare to welcome their baby girl, all the ladies are invited to special a baby shower for Sarah LaLone, at the Behr’s Home, Thursday, April 13 at 6:30 pm. Sarah is registered on Amazon.
Library
If anyone is interested in volunteering to open up the library for a few hours each week as a benefit to our staff and battalion, please contact Maj. Horsman. We’d love to get this up and going again!
Battalion Update | SMaj. Hawley
As we head into a new week, Battalion training is still in full swing. ESO wraps up the Fire Academy portion of their course this week with ALERT's final test today and their state test on Wednesday. Please pray for them as all the weeks of training and study are literally “put to the test.” Pray that the whole class would have good understanding and recollection of the information they have learned over the last 13 weeks.

This last week we added in a time at the end of each day to spend a few minutes in the Word as a Battalion. This has allowed us to begin cycling through each man having the opportunity to study, prep, and lead this small Bible study. Please be in prayer for us over the next two weeks as this is a stretching opportunity, pushing some of the men out of their comfort zones by having them open up the Word in front of the group and lead them in discussion.

Basic Training Update | Capt. Boulden
Week two finished well with all the men completing both hikes successfully. The weather was great and all of the men did very well. Thank you for your prayers in this regard.

This coming week of training for the men will consist of River Crossing, Rappelling, Rock Climbing, Work projects, and their Six Hour Hike on Thursday morning. Keep the men in prayer as we move forward and Basic Training continues to grow in intensity and difficulty. Pray that the men would continue to humble themselves under their leadership and that they would be teachable and learn to trust them.
