Jonathan and Esther's wedding is right here on campus! The wedding will be at an unknown time after 1:30 pm on May 15, when the trumpet sounds. You should be able to hear the trumpet if you are visiting with guests near the main buildings on campus or in campus housing. Once you hear the trumpet, please head towards the chapel for the ceremony! RSVP is required on our website by April 15. (We are excited to provide dinner at no cost to our guests, so thank you for helping us with our planning!) We hope you can come and celebrate with us! Wedding invitation linked here.
Strong in the Basics & Bible Study Boot Camp
We have several powerfully educational courses coming up so be sure to mark your calendars and/or register if you are interested in participating. The cost for each course is $200 for staff. Classes will take place Monday–Friday, May 3–14.

Strong in the Basics is designed for students aged 13 and older. Participants will study English, Mathematics, History, Geography, Biology, Chemistry, and Hymnology.

The Bible Study Bootcamp is designed for high school students and adults. Students will build a solid foundation in Bible study by learning Greek and by learning to use Bible study tools effectively to unlock the richer meaning of a passage.

Leadership Corner | Maj. Boulden
Employees become the heart of any organization. Our success is driven by our team. When employees see that their organization values their overall well-being, they will be more likely to stay engaged and committed. Here are some strategies to help your employees achieve a better work-life balance: Be flexible. Encourage exercise. Set limits. (Create an ideal week for your team that provides uninterrupted time for deep work, team meetings, limits on expected response times, etc.) Offer opportunities to learn. (The best leaders are continually growing and learning. Conferences, internal training, or mentor programs are valuable tools that can help your team reach their highest potential.)
Battalion Update | Capt. Vanderford
The battalion is starting their second week of classes, but this is the first week in the classroom for Missions (they were on deployment last week) and the first week of Dive class for just the three dive students as last week the class also included all the Special Response Diver students. Please continue to pray for God’s work in the hearts of the men and for wisdom for the instructors and battalion leadership. Please also pray for God’s leading as Daniel works to plan the ministry trip for the Missions class.

ALERT will be hosting the 2021 Secret Church on April 23rd from 6:00 PM to approximately midnight. The topic this year is "The Great Imbalance". If you would like to participate, please contact me by April 9. There is no "charge" for this event, but I am requesting a donation of $15. You must be registered to attend as we need to pay for each person who is attending.

Basic Training: Week One
All of the men for Unit 64 arrived safely for Basic Training last Thursday. After three days of Indoc Training, the men will start their official training Monday at 6:30 in the gym. The rest of the week will be spent moving in, learning all of the rules and regulations, and starting their baseline classes on navigation and rope skills. Please be in prayer for us and the men under our care.
