| Battalion Update Thank you for your prayers for the battalion. The men are doing well in their studies and are doing a good job adjusting to the new normal that the COVID-19 situation has brought. SMaj. Nafziger is also doing a great job creating activities and competitions to keep things both fun and challenging. Please continue to pray for health for all of the guys and for the instructors whose jobs require them to be in contact with the public. |
| Leadership Corner | Maj. Boulden Throughout Scripture time in the wilderness proved to be incredibly valuable—Moses, David, Elijah, and Jesus all spent time alone in the wilderness. These times prepared them for what was coming next in their lives and ministry. This season of quarantine/isolation can be a “wilderness” for us as leaders, preparing us for new opportunities and challenges that we are about to face.
Are there any relationships in my life, personal or professional, that aren’t right? Am I loving the people in my life well? Do my attitudes towards others reflect Biblical standards and principles? Is there any pride, bitterness, resentment, envy, jealousy, etc.? Do I lack gratitude or have a sense of entitlement in any area of my life? Are there any behaviors in my life that compromise my integrity, credibility, or influence? (These behaviors may not be sinful but are still compromising.) Am I living out Biblical truth in every area of my life? Is there an area of stubbornness or disobedience that I am allowing to remain in my life? These aren’t easy questions, but powerful moments of growth aren’t ever comfortable. More than ever, our world needs strong, intentional, spiritual leaders.
