| Battalion Update | Capt. Vanderford The first two weeks of the quarter have gone very well and both guys and instructors are settling into a good rhythm. Construction will leave Thursday and will be gone for two weeks on a trip that will include training as well as service for a Teen Challenge location in Maine. EMT students are well into their class material but still have lots more to learn before they begin clinicals and start to work toward their final exam! The flight students are doing well, but it is going to be challenging to get in the necessary flight time around the weather and other variables. Missions has been able to benefit from several guest instructors, and is beginning to study introductory Spanish in preparation for their trip to Chiapas near the end of the quarter. Dive has had a very busy schedule between regular class, diving, and guest instructors (that included some weekend class this past week). Please pray for the details of Construction's trip, excellent understanding for EMTs, God's heart for the world for Missions, good weather and safety for Flight, and safety and personal growth for Aquatics.
