Energy Savings
Again, just a reminder to turn lights off when walking through buildings. The Field House lights especially have been left on several times these past few weeks. Thanks for helping us become more energy efficient.
Prayer and Fasting/Early Voting
We will have a day of prayer and fasting on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. This is a significant day and we want to pray for righteous leaders to be elected for our federal, state, and local government offices.

Early voting is open now for Texas residents and until election day on March 3. Linked are the ballots for both the Republican and Democratic parties to review. Please be in prayer for the Lord’s will to be done through this special privilege that we as American citizens have in the election process.

Awards and Promotions
Awards and Promotions will be held next Thursday, March 12 at 12 noon with a complimentary meal. This will be in place of the usual Wednesday Staff Meeting. Reserve officers are welcome to attend in their uniform.
Campus Staff Sale
There is a campus wide staff sale scheduled for April 17–18. If you have further questions or would like to list larger items, please contact Michele Weiss.
Battalion Update
ERT had a great time on deployment. It was a great opportunity to just enjoy spending time together and get lot of good work done along the way. On the flood relief deployment in Mississippi, one man accepted Christ as a result of the love and witness of our guys and other volunteers. Founder's Weekend was also great time of encouragement through the messages and fellowship.

The quarter is already coming to a close with just two short weeks left. Please pray for God's continued work as he makes each one of us a man more like himself.

Basic Training: Maj. Boulden and Lt. O'Neal will be spending time training with the three Drill Instructors and Logistics Chief as they prepare for this upcoming Unit.
Leadership Corner | Maj. Boulden
We are in the business of forging and multiplying new leaders. Here are seven things "Multiplying Leaders" know — 1) I am not the body of Christ. We all have different gifts. 2) You never reproduce who you want to be; you will reproduce who you are. Become a better leader yourself. 3) For is much better than from. Effective leaders focus on what they can do for their team, not what they can get from them. 4) It's okay to play favorites. Why not spend 80% of your time with people who give you 80% of your results? 5) Our culture either makes us or breaks us. If you don't know your organization's culture, by default, you have a bad one. 6) Higher capacity people love being around high capacity people. Connect them so they feel like they belong and are doing what matters. 7) Non-financial currencies are the best currencies. How do you attract and keep non-paid volunteers and leaders? Pay them with gratitude, attention, and respect.
