Basic Training and COVID–19
Please be on stand by for more information on Basic Training and COVID–19. (Linked is Col. Behr's email for your convenience.) Maj. Boulden asks for your continued flexibility as Basic Training navigates the unknowns ahead. Things are going to be very different and they are grateful for your teamwork and support to make things happen.

Please note that due to increased precautions, there will be no Staff Welcome or public R-Night presentation. R-Night will be live streamed here
Conference and COVID–19
At this time, we are continuing to move forward in planning for our annual Family Conferences. We will conduct the April Family Conference unless other restrictions or later developments indicate that we must postpone or cancel the event. Linked is the full Caronavirus Conference Email we sent to our guests.

Again, all of our staff families are invited to attend the upcoming Family Conference at no charge. If your children would like to participate in the children's programs, please register them here, by Monday, April 13.
Large Dumpsters
Please note that the large, long dumpsters are not intended for regular staff use. These are especially for Facilities projects on campus. Please use the regular sized dumpsters and be sure to breakdown cardboard boxes as well.
March Birthday Lunch
Birthday lunch is this Wednesday, March 18. Hope you can join us!
Parent's Night Out
The Kane sisters, Turnbull siblings, Heidi Fredrickson, and Esther Staddon would be happy to watch the staff children in the Faculty Dining Room, Thursday, March 19 from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. They hope to test the BCIC curriculum teaching material and to encourage parents to take a date night. If you're interested, please RSVP your children to estaddon@iblp.org by March 17.
Campus Staff Sale
There is a campus wide staff sale scheduled for April 17–18. If you have further questions or would like to list larger items, please contact Michele Weiss.
Battalion Update
The new quarter is off to a great start. We currently have 30 students in battalion with the following classes in session: Dive, Flight, EMT, CST, and Missions. Eleven more students are in Cadre, preparing to train the next generation of ALERT men. Our theme for the quarter comes from 1 Corinthians ‭16:13, ‬“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.” Please pray that the men will have a strong desire to seek the Lord, and that whatever they do, they will do it with their might.
Leadership Corner | Maj. Boulden
As we move forward in the middle of this "global pandemic" and struggle to tackle the problems that we are facing it can be easy to fall into the trap of complaining that "this is a difficult problem...." Of course, it’s a difficult problem. All the easy ones are already solved. Difficult problems are precisely what we signed up for, right? Or, at the very least, the only problems that are left. Difficult problems are rarely solved immediately, and sometimes they've not solved the way we might have imagined, but with effort, they often yield. Let's pray for wisdom today as we face these "difficult problems" together!
