Calling all Gardeners
Each year, our neighbor, Joanne Wolf has many varieties of tomato seedlings that are available for purchase. She wanted our staff gardeners to have access to the best selection before they sell out. For more information contact Joanne at 903-636-9888.

The Journey to the Heart office is excited to invite any staff young people to attend the Big Sandy Journeys in the spring of 2019 at no cost. We hope this invitation gives interested individuals enough time to arrange their schedules for the new year. If you would like to participate, please contact Gabe Cleator at ext. 2152 or email gcleator@iblp.org.
Battalion Update | Maj. Boulden
The battalion will be running the Caleb Nelson Race tomorrow at 8:00 AM. Please feel free to come out and support the men as they run. Awards and Promotions will take place at lunch on Wednesday.

ERT will be finishing up their final week of training with more leadership classes and final scenarios incorporating all of the training they have received in the last ten weeks. EMTs are finishing up course work and taking their final tests. The men in the Mobile Response Team will be doing some odds and ends projects this week as they finish up their training. Leadership Class is on deployment this week in Pearland, TX with Samaritans Purse working on a rebuild project from past flooding.

Cadre Training starts today! These men will push through two weeks of intense training as they prepare for the recruits of Unit 61. Please continue to get back into the habit of not using the back road by the Basic Training Barracks for the safety of our men. Thank you.

Leadership Corner | Maj. Boulden
How do we react to negative criticism? Though we often attempt to justify ourselves, I'd like to encourage us to take this feedback in a spirit of humility—to be willing to listen and learn. What better way to help "forge men" then by our own example of Christ-like humility? More about How to Cultivate Humility in Leadership.
