| February Day of Prayer and Fasting Dr. Levendusky is calling for our monthly day of prayer and fasting on February 8. He emphasized our need to join together and seek the Lord.
And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out? And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting (Mark 9:28–29).
And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments; We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments… (Daniel 9:3–5)

| Battalion Update ALERT's 28th anniversary is on Saturday, February 12. In celebration, the battalion plans to make a polar plunge in the lake at midnight (first minutes of the 12th) and have a bonfire with hot drinks afterwards. The men wrote their peer evaluations this past weekend, and the battalion leadership team will be compiling those through the first part of this week. Intermediate Training and L&C are both scheduled to leave on Saturday morning; Intermediate Training to Miami for two weeks of dive training, and L&C to Washington DC for their leadership field trip. L&C public speeches will be in the Dining Room on Friday afternoon. Please continue to pray for pre-dive trip details to come together before Saturday. |
| Leadership Corner | Maj. Boulden Often we can struggle to maintain the proper limits and boundaries within our workplaces. Below is a helpful guide to help remind us what we are responsible for and what we are not.
This is Your Job To fulfill the commitments I made To make sacrifices with other staff To go the extra mile on my work To add value that complements the team To see and act in light of the big picture To be responsible to teammates.
This is Not Your Job To fix others who fail to keep their commitments To maintain boundaries that are "fair" To go seven extra miles out of guilt To make up for everyone’s weaknesses To own every mistake made by others To be responsible for teammates.
May God grant you the serenity to accept the things you cannot change, courage to change the things you can, and wisdom to know the difference.
